After an extremely successful 2023, we are delighted to announce that we have been selected as a finalist in the New Tourism Business of the Year category at the East of England Tourism Awards. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to providing exceptional guest and diner experiences, and our growing reputation as a destination boutique hotel in Suffolk.
The full list of finalists is now available to view here and we’ll be featured in a range of local and regional publications over the coming weeks, including the East Anglian Daily Times and Eastern Daily Press and the March editions of Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex Life so keep your eyes peeled!
This news comes after a year of investment in both the premises and our team, who continue to go the extra mile to provide our guests with world-class service in newly refurbished, plush and luxury surroundings. We’re also committed to serving our local community, welcoming diners and drinkers from the vicinity and working with local suppliers, farmers and contractors.
The winners will be announced on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Snape Maltings, Suffolk. We’ll be in attendance, and look forward to treating some of our team to a well earned night out, to celebrate our success. As a Visit England associated event the three finalists in each award category will automatically be considered for the prestigious Visit England Awards for Excellence.

The past year has seen the completion of an extensive renovation project. This investment included the addition of new rooms, an outdoor terrace, accessible facilities, a dedicated private dining area, coupled with a commitment to staff training and wellbeing.
The Bell has also recently announced the addition of intimate wedding packages, further cementing it as a luxury venue.
