As summer unfolds, The Bell Hotel in Saxmundham is thrilled to unveil its new à la carte menu, celebrating the vibrant flavours of the season. Our team has created a selection of dishes to delight everyone, from light, refreshing starters to delicious main courses and desserts.

Begin your dining experience with our Monkfish Ceviche, featuring candied orange and samphire, or the Crispy Hen’s Egg with avocado purée and confit tomatoes. For a unique twist, try the Binham Blue brûlée, accompanied by a frisée salad and candied walnut.

Main courses

Enjoy the rich flavours of our Emmerdale Farm Darsham fillet steak, perfectly balanced with pomme Anna and a red wine jus. Seafood lovers will enjoy the Pan-Fried Fillet of Sea Bass, served with crushed new potatoes and a delicate orange dressing. For the vegetarians, our potato & herb gnocchi with watercress pesto and parmesan crisp is a must-try.


Round off your meal with one of our delicious desserts. The baked New York cheesecake with passionfruit curd and fresh raspberries offers a creamy and tangy finish, while our guests favourite, Eleanor’s Bakery chocolate brownie, served with white chocolate ice cream, promises a rich and indulgent treat.
