Beales Hotels are proud to have completed Phase One of the long-overdue refurbishment of The Bell since taking ownership in April 2022.

Along with our local partners in Saxmundham and Leiston, we have created the following brand new areas:

  • Three gorgeous new food and drink areas: The Heath Restaurant, The River Bar, The Coast Lounge.
  • Stunning new four star bedrooms 1-2, and 4-8, staircases and landings.
  • Accessible ramped entrance.
  • Beautiful new WCs for ladies, gents,plus accessible WC with baby changing facilities.
  • State of the art kitchen and wash up areas.
  • New fire escape.
  • History panels, local artwork, a sense of the Suffolk Coastal area for the first time

Phase Two

Phase Two will start in 2023 and will include:

  • Lift to the first floor to accessible bedrooms.
  • The Coach Room – private dining or meetings for 8.
  • Reception desk.
  • More stunning four star bedrooms; 3, and 9-16.
  • Fireplaces in the food and drink areas.
  • Paved terrace.

We hope to be completed in the Spring and ready for the busy summer season ahead!
